Instagram is having a moment, guys. It has boomed onto the scene and is being taken seriously by social media pros. It overtook Vine (15 seconds > 6 seconds) and just introduced advertisements/promoted posts. Instagram is obviously the most visual of the social media, and it's my go-to app when I need to escape for a couple of minutes.
What are your top 5 must follow accounts? Mine are:
1) Gal Meets Glam || Julia Hengel
Julia is one fabulously dressed twenty something living my dream life in San Fran. She expertly pairs her designer duds with more low brow pieces that I have in my closet. Follow her Instagram @juliahengel or check out her blog, Gal Meets Glam.
2) Frenchie Butt
This precious puppy has me counting down the days until I can get a furry friend of my own. And the videos? I die. Follow this little bundle of joy on Instagram, @frenchiebutt.
3) The College Prepster || Carly Heitlinger
A tried and true favorite of so many and some may say one of the biggest blogging success stories out there, Carly is an Instagram pro. In fact, check out this post of her Instagram tips. Follow her on Instagram @collegeprepster or read her fabulous blog, TCP.
4) Taza
This is one of my new follows. She was reccommended to me by a friend in class and I am hooked. Taza posts the most gorgeous pictures of her sweet kids and their to die for NYC life. Follow on Instagram @taza or read her rockstar blog.
5) The Small Things Blog || Kate Bryan
Yep, the Pinterest hair girl. I have to tell you that I followed Kate before she hit the big time, before the back of her head was a celebrity and I just love her. Follow her (and her soon to be babe) on Instagram @k8_smallthings or read the cat lady adventures on her blog.
So there's my top 5, what's yours?

ONE DRESS -- TWO WAYS
I ran into Belk tonight on my way to buy a shower gift for a sweet friend and soon-to-be bride. The Belk right by my apartment is my go-to place for dresses. I've found a ton of incredible dresses at absolutely unbelievable prices.
When I brought this little cutie back to the dressing room, I realized that I wasn't sure which way it was supposed to sit.
[Jessica Simpson | buy it here]
This style is perfect with a blazer for work or with wedges for a spring party. I'm going to get my money's worth from this steal...can you believe it was only $40? I KNOW. You all want to come to the Belk by my apartment now.

MONOGRAM MONDAY: Racerback Tanks
In case I didn't have enough monograms on my car keys, car, pillows, pocket t-shirts and Lord knows what else...I found something else to monogram.
Nicole and I were talking about cover-ups for the lake this summer when she stumbled upon some oversized racerback tanks on Pinterest. It was like 11:00 so nothing was open, but we couldn't fight off the crafting urge. Naturally, we hopped in the car and headed over to Walmart to see what our options were.
Enter the $4 racerback tank that we found in the Women's Plus department. Literally the perfect thing.
The only dilemma was where to put the monogram. We ended up putting it on the bottom half of the racerback in fear of our hair covering it if it were at the top. I think we made the right decision.

HIGH FIVE FOR FRIDAY
[1] My school hosted Spring Fling this week-- which is basically a week celebrating the spring weather using free food, free concerts and free...everything! We had a photo booth on Monday that the Fab 4 & I totally took advantage of
[2] Took advantage of the last months of dorm life and sat on the window ledge outside my room with some RA friends. The best part? One of our sororities was having a "Famous Couple" date party so the people watching was prime
[3] Sweet Sarah got engaged recently and asked the 3 of us to be in her wedding next summer. So excited for Sar and honored to be a part of her wedding party. This "be my maid" box is the cutest and makes me so thrilled for wedding planning
[4] Took a road trip to Tennesee with some friends to see Union's version of Step Sing. Such a joy to spend the weekend chatting, laughing and judging a show with these ladies. [snapchat pic, you know it]
[5] Satisfied my boss's craving for Waffle House by moving a meeting off campus. If you're not involved in student affairs, you should be...crazy things happening every day.

#WEEKLYWALLPAPER
Have y'all ever read One Thousand Gifts? The book is incredibly popular on my campus, so of course I picked it up. I read it in January and it has truly changed my outlook on 2013.
It is such a great reminder of how incredibly blessed that we are. It's so easy to forget and get caught up in #firstworldpains and other negative aspects of our days. But when we choose to see the joy in our everyday, it really opens your eyes to everything the Lord is doing.
After reading the book, I made a commitment to CHOOSE JOY. Sometimes I forget (typical) so I decided to whip up this little phone wallpaper to remind me! Feel free to snag it for your own phone.
I know, I know, it only fits an iPhone 4. I should be more tech savvy. Next time I pinky promise I'll make an iPhone 5 & an iPad variation.
